After a series of successful singles, Tijana Bogićević presents her new song, Lek za bol, created in collaboration with Marčelo. It is an emotional track that, through powerful lyrics and striking performances, speaks about relationships, the challenges we face, and the importance of communication as a key step toward overcoming problems.
The music, lyrics, and arrangement for the song are by Dušan Alagić, the author behind some of Tijana’s biggest hits, including Hajde onda ništa, U redu, Nekako nikako, and Gotovo. Their latest collaboration brings a song filled with recognizable emotion and sincerity, while Marčelo’s authorial signature further enriches its story and gives it a new dimension.
“I am happy that, after a long time, my new song is once again written by Dušan Alagić. His songwriting style is very close to me, and the collaboration with Marčelo brought a completely new dimension to this song. He gave everything his distinctive mark, and Lek za bol has thus become a truly special story of ours. We enjoyed the entire process of creating the song, from working in the studio to filming the music video, and I believe the audience will recognize the sincere emotion and energy we poured into this project,” Tijana said.
The song’s author, Dušan Alagić, also spoke about how it came to be:
“Today, people give up too easily. They often have the impression that there is always another option, some new solution just around the corner. However, in love, that is not always the case. It does matter whom a person lets go of and whom they give up on. I wrote Lek za bol about a relationship that still has hope, about two people who, despite their problems, have a reason to stay together and need just a little more effort, understanding, and willingness to preserve what they have.
Tijana was the perfect choice for this kind of song and the emotion it carries. I especially enjoyed the fact that Marčelo wrote his own part and brought in his authentic signature. I find the combination of Marko’s and my writing very interesting, and working with them in the studio was a true pleasure.”
Special attention is also drawn to the music video accompanying the release of the song, directed by Đorđe Stojiljković. In addition to Tijana and Marčelo, the video features actors Tijana Pečenčić and Marko Braić, who, through their roles, bring a story close to the everyday lives of many couples.
Through a series of emotional scenes, the video portrays different stages of a romantic relationship — from closeness and happiness, through misunderstandings, hurt, and distance, all the way to the moment when the partners decide to face their problems and find a way to overcome them.
